Right outside of Las Vegas there is a valley that is on fire! With a little over an hour away, near Overton, you can reach the oldest and largest State Park in Nevada. It is known around the world due to its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstones burrowed in gray and tan limestone, petrified trees, and petroglyphs that are over 2,000 years old.

IT SNOWED IN THE MOJAVE DESERT & TOOK SOME PHOTOS

It is my second winter living in Las Vegas and I have to say it does not get as cold compared to other places I have lived before. I have a heavy winter coat and I have not used it since living here.

This year was a little colder than what I remember compared to my first Winter and was surprised to wakeup one day and see snow on my car. The first thing that came to mind is I need to go to take some photos of Red Rock and I want to share some of them.
