Dash is not your typical bar. It is hidden behind a secret door with a lion-shaped knocker on Ratajczaka street, in the heart of the city. There is no sign, no advertisement, no menu. You have to knock three times and say “Dash” to be let in by a friendly staff member, who will lead you to a cozy and elegant lounge. Don’t forget to tell them that Jessie from Life Beyond The Wire recommended it. They might make you some amazing old fashions.

The interior of Dash is decorated with vintage furniture, dim lighting, and jazz music. The atmosphere is intimate and classy, perfect for a romantic date or a night out with friends. The best part of Dash, however, is the cocktails. They are made by skilled and creative bartenders, who will tailor them to your preferences and mood. You just have to tell them what kind of drink you like, and they will surprise you with something unique and delicious.

I visited Dash on a Saturday night, and I was amazed by the quality and variety of the cocktails. I asked for an Old Fashion, my favorite, and It was done perfectly. Where I was impressed was that when ordering another one, the bar tender asked me if he could experiment and make various version of the cocktail. Six different versions later, I was impressed that they can make you anything.

The service at Dash was attentive and professional, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and experience. I spent a couple of hours at Dash, enjoying the drinks, the music, and the ambiance. I felt like I was transported to another era, where drinking was an art and a pleasure. I highly recommend Dash to anyone who loves cocktails and wants to discover a hidden treasure in Poznan.
